How Do I Pray for Healing?

When disaster, illness, or injury enters our lives, it can frighten and bewilder us. We may become angry at God or even lose our faith. What is healing? Can prayer really work? In this session we will use music to explore how we pray and how we effect healing of self and others. The human system benefits from hearing and feeling vibrations and harmonies that affect it at all levels—intellectual, emotional, and cellular. As the body relaxes, thoughts flow more clearly, insights arise, and perspective increases. Worry and pain decrease as energy is renewed. With lyrics and readings provided, participants will be invited to participate as much as they feel comfortable, from quietly listening to singing along in harmony.
