Hospice is Not a Scary Word

So often, hospice is perceived as an unspeakable term, as people are particularly fearful of using the ‘H’ word.  The truth is that while a terminal diagnosis is understandably scary and stops us in our tracks, there is a certain power in honesty, especially when confronting serious illness.  In this session, we will explore the power and importance of palliative and hospice care, while examining traditional Jewish rituals that have the potential to bring meaning to all who are facing and contemplating the end of life.
